ABOUT US

Welcome to the NBA Basketball School Germany , a joint project between CourtReady Performance (CRP) and the National Basketball Association (NBA). This partnership aims to bring the renowned training methods of the NBA directly to Germany and to professionally promote young athletes between the ages of 9 and 18.

The CRP team, consisting of experienced coaches, sports scientists and sports psychologists, leads the NBA Basketball School Germany with a focus on individual development and the teaching of key values such as team spirit, resilience and discipline. Director

ANDREAS WAGNER

During his career, Andreas Wagner has shaped teams in leading German leagues and at European level as head coach and assistant coach (e.g. BBC Bayreuth, Giants Nördlingen, Rasta Vechta, Ratiopharm Ulm, FC Bayern Basketball). During his time at FC Bayern Basketball, Andreas played a key role in the development of young talent, especially as head of the youth department, where he led the NBBL team to the German championship title.

Director Sports Science

PHILIPP
HARTMANNSGRUBER

Philipp is an experienced sports scientist who specializes in developing personalized training plans for top athletes. With a bachelor's and master's degree in "Sport and Exercise Science" from the Technical University of Munich, he has already worked as a youth coach and training scientist at FC Bayern Basketball. Philipp also conducts research in the area of "Early Sport Specialization" in collaboration with the NBA Player Health Department.

Director Mental Health

FRANZ

RUPPRECHT

Franz has over 10 years of experience as a sports psychologist and elite youth coach. He is currently training to be a psychological psychotherapist and works as a speaker and expert for the BBL and the German Basketball Association.

FLORIAN

SCHULAN

Florian is an avid sportsman and passionate NBA fan. As founder of CourtReady Performance, he brings together his sporting passion and entrepreneurial vision to successfully lead the company. Florian is largely responsible for strategically positioning the NBA Basketball School Germany and ensuring that it meets the highest quality standards.
